We did find a way to power through January and February, with the healthy eating, the New Year’s resolutions and of course the credit card bills.  Congratulations to all and let’s breathe in the fresh air of March.  With Easter approaching, many people will have family dinners to plan and attend.  Why not treat your hosts or guests to a delicious Italian delicacy, Zeppole!

WHAT ARE ZEPPOLE?

A zeppole is an Italian pastry consisting of a deep fried dough ball typically 4” in diameter. Usually topped with powdered sugar, and may be filled with custard cream or whipped cream. With some imagination and creativity adding fruit like strawberries, blueberries or bananas can add more colour, flavour and vitamins. Continue reading
